  • To set up training facilities that will provide sewing and trade classes for current and aspiring members of the artisan community.
  • To teach members of the community fiscal responsibility, family planning and give them the opportunity to ensure their children get a formal education.
  • To set up a textiles and trade mentorship program, which would allow us to set up an international program comprising of mentors and mentees in both the United States and West Africa to learn different trades and skills, grow as artisans, creatives and as business people and give back to both communities in any way possible
  • To expand our manufacturing facilities, thus bringing awareness to the power and beneficial impact of locally made goods; and simultaneously creating more jobs, empowering more people and reiterating the message that we see you, we honor your talents and we care.

Our CEO & Founder

Krystal Chigbu Maka

CEO | Get in touch @k.ijeoma

STALLION founder, Krystal Chigbu Maka, was in her second year of law school, in Boston, Massachusetts, when she was fed up with the inability to get luxury hair extensions at an affordable price. Determined to find a solution, the quest to STALLION began.

After over a year of research and planning, STALLION was launched. However, since then, our founder moved abroad to West Africa to commence her studies at Nigerian Law School and STALLION’S vision has expanded dramatically, and STALLION has turned into an international manufacturing powerhouse, producing everything from handmade school bags and lunch boxes, to weaved baskets, to handmade real leather purses, to satin hair bonnets and oven mitts and so much more. She was motivated to make this shift in expansion after seeing how vibrant, talented, and multifaceted the West African artisan community was.

With Krystal’s divine and innate desire to enhance humanity, she decided to pursue this journey of expanding her product line, while simultaneously creating a plethora of jobs.
